This reformer is an absolute beauty and very well crafted! As a movement professional I am very happy with my purchase. As a Canadian I am glad I can buy a Canadian brand that is still leading by far in producing high quality refromers in increasingly oversaturated and confusing pilates apparatus market where most of products rely more on marketing and less on tradition and quality. This reformer is silent and sturdy, it glides extremly well, is easy to assemble (comes 90 percent assembled) and is so easy on the eye that it you are looking fwd to practice. This bundle comes with box, pole and standing board - all three essential for well rounded at home or in studio practice so I would recommend the bundle instead of just reformer. Purchasing process was mostly flawless ... it does ask continuous engagement from you (I encourage you to ask questions and get engaged in the process ) and it did take them longer to ship than it was expected but all glitches do get resolved with their team which is open for feedbacks on which they do react . Reformer arrived very well packed and protected. I will add that yes Merrithew reformers are indeed pricy and I do believe all reformers on the market should and could be of lower price (as they were before the hype started ) however, having said that - do not make a mistake of buying some no name or new brand that is fully made in China just because they are much cheeper . Those fully made in China brands should be even more cheap that they are! They also lack years of try and tested experience that Merrithew has as their machine haven't be tested in the market for more than just couple of years. I just made my Merrithew reformer purchase a moth ago but I hope investing in well tested brand will prove as a sound choice on a long run. If it proves to be a good investment as it seems for now it is, I ll be a returning customer.
