Bells of Steel Cerakote Utility Barbell – Multipurpose Bar

Our classic reliable, well rounded Olympic sized barbell with black cerakote sleeves and a striking blue or orange cerakote shaft finish for an awesome price.

The cerakote utility barbell is virtually identical to our best-selling utility barbell but finished with cerakote.

What is Cerakote?

Cerakote is a ceramic and polymer coating that creates stunning looks and better durability. The coating is considered the best in the barbell game next to stainless steel.

Our next-generation basic bar, the Cerakote Utility Barbell is designed to be an all-around solution for bench press, squats, deadlifts, and the Olympic lifts (cleans, jerks, and snatches). This barbell is an excellent option for well-rounded garage gym athletes, as well as commercial gyms. To learn more, check out What is a Cerakote Barbell.

As a generalist bar, the Utility Barbell is designed for people who don’t adhere to a particular strength sport and just love an excellent bar. With a 28.5mm diameter, it’s just a tad thicker than an Olympic weightlifting bar (28mm diameter) and a smidge thinner than a powerlifting bar (29mm diameter). Brass bushings means the sleeves and no bearings makes for a smooth but not over-rotation and an ultra-secure snap ring is used to keep it all together. A medium-light knurl won’t chew your hands up when power cleaning, but complemented with knurling in the middle means the bar has a better grip when squatting.

IMPORTANT: For cerakote-coated barbells, added care should be used to avoid abrasive metal-to-metal contact. Tight-fitting metal collars, un-lined landmine attachments, and j-cups, etc — these can potentially cut into or wear off the cerakote finish. Taking these extra precautions will preserve that beautiful rust-resistant finish for years to come!

And to back it all up, it comes with a 5 year warranty against bending/breaking.
